    Much needed break...

Last 2 weeks are really grueling with hectic schedule and work load. I had to work about 14 hours per day with other team members (of course, it’s not something I haven’t done before). We did reach the final stage of the project only to hear that the client has postponed the deployment for about 2 weeks and so we got our breather for another 2 weeks. Of course, the client has to pay extra now for the delay caused by him which in turn costs us resources (!).

Nothing sounds much better than couple of days off after a hectic work schedule. But I ain’t lucky with that. Since the project ain’t over, my request for 3-4 days compensatory break was turned down.

Cursing the projects and the developers in my mind, I retuned back to work. Though not in a good way, I did get the break I wanted. I had a fall on Friday morning and couldn’t move out of my bed for next 2 days.

Apart from the pain and inability to walk around freely, this forced break is damn good. Today is the first in last 3 days I could touch the keyboard and type something… I feel much better after 3 days of sleep and watching TV.

I hope everyone had wonderful timeJ. I’m just enjoying the last day of my break since I’ll have to get back to work tomorrow.

Have nice day… God Bless all…
